When it comes to protecting the next generation, only the best will do.
Sec-Pro was recently approached by Brad Stevens and his exceptional team at Prestige Alarms to deliver a tailored vehicle access control solution for the new Guildford Grammar Co-Educational Boarding House, currently being built by Firm Construction. As one of Western Australia’s most prestigious schools, ensuring the safety and security of the site during and after construction was a top priority.
The mission was clear: provide strong, reliable vehicle control at key entry points around the site — without disrupting the flow of daily school operations.
A Safe & Smart Solution
Our team engineered and supplied three Rise Vigilant electromechanical automatic bollards, designed to regulate controlled vehicle access with precision. These bollards were strategically placed and fully integrated with ground induction loops, enabling automatic detection and safe, efficient traffic flow.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Each bollard is equipped with pre-alarm LED lighting and an audible warning system, alerting pedestrians and drivers before activation — a crucial feature in environments where students, staff, and vehicles coexist.
The entire system is seamlessly synchronised with Prestige Alarms’ access control infrastructure, including timer-based automation for effortless operation, delivering both safety and convenience without compromise.
A Collaboration Worth Celebrating
Projects like this are a testament to what can be achieved through true collaboration. We extend our thanks to Prestige Alarms for their trust, to Beninca for their reliable automation products, and to all trades and suppliers for their professionalism throughout.
Together, we've delivered a secure, robust vehicle management solution for a Western Australian institution that will continue setting standards for years to come.
